Friday Sweet Bites

November 14, 2009

Late night treats. 🙂

I’ve walked past this place several times. It caught my attention with their striking コーヒ店 / Kohi-Ten signboard and also their Tokyo culture.

As always, we were still hungry after dinner. Hence, we decided to check out コーヒ店 / Kohi-Ten。Just like the name suggests, the place serves a variety of coffee. We were looking for something sweet, hence we tried their desserts instead.

After scanning through the menu, we were craving for cheesecake and their Green Tea Matcha Cheesecake caught out attention.

We love the Green Tea Matcha Cheesecake. The cheesecake wasn’t too cheesy, and at the same time, the green tea taste was just right. The crust wasn’t too hard as well. There’s even Azuki (Red Bean) in the cake! The cake was pretty smooth and truly a delight to have to end our friday night dinner.

This is my first bite of Green Tea Matcha Cheesecake. It definitely won’t be the last. I kind of like the East-Meets-West combination. 🙂

It’s pretty light =) priced at $4.90. I thought it was pretty decent. At least i managed to convinced myself that its a Green Tea Matcha cheesecake, not that sinful as a new york cheesecake or oreo cheesecake. haha!

Hi Evan! Yeah when i was eating that, i actually thought of you. LOL Because we tweet about matcha the other time! I like OChaCha!! They have quite a bit of cheesecakes (Oreo, The usual cheesecake and chocolate one), waffles, pancakes and some others. But give the pancakes a miss, your pancakes looks way much better than them.
