Irish Bailey Cake at an Affordable Price 🙂

This place was introduced by ah mei. We actually had a proper meal and cakes few months back but a pity that i did not have my camera with me then.

After our dinner, we thought of Caffee Pralet as i was thinking of having some Low-calorie small bites. I remembered Caffee Pralet serves healthy food and affordable good cakes. Hence, we went there for some small bites.

The Eat Healthy Campaign – Just right for me

It was tough to decide what to have. I wanted to try their Green Tea Gateur (The equivalent of Green Tea Matcha Cake) but i saw their Irish Bailey Cake!!

Irish Bailey Cake (Cakes costs between $3.50 – $4.50)

I love it that it tastes almost like an ice cream cake. The Irish Bailey cake was good as it doesn’t has an overpowering alcohol taste to it that might cause the cake to lose its original flavour. It was a definitely good touch to end my Saturday dinner fare.

Cake aside, i like the whole concept of Caffe Pralet. It’s real cosy and a good place to hang out in the Tiong Bahru area. The staff were definitely very polite and friendly. They probably belongs to the I-Love-Cakes-Hence-I-Work-Here. cateogry :p

Anyway, there’s a special event by the folks from Caffe Pralet as shown below;

“Go and witness another record-breaking event by Chef Judy Koh and her team of chefs attempt to build the  World Tallest Cupcake Tower during The Cacao Show 2009 to be held at Centre Point, Orchard Road tomorrow – 15th Nov 2009” 🙂

And if you wish to take up some bakery course, do check out their website as well.

    Hey, the green tea gateau is good! Give it a try the next time you are there. Drop by for lunch and they have good value lunch set too. I like their tofu burger. Very healthy haha (so that I feel better indulging in the cakes afterward) =)
