Taste matters, Cluny Court

March 24, 2010

The lovely quote from Ernestine Ulmer “Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first.”

With a name like ‘Taste Matters’,  we know that the guys really spent a great deal of effort in their desserts to make sure that the taste is right.

There’s more desserts/ice cream parlour these days. But, I’m not complaining! 🙂

Taste matter is a ‘secret’ in Cluny Court. Pop by Taste matters and you will definitely be in for a surprise.

Left with 7 bucks in our wallet, We ordered only 1 dessert that day. I explained briefly to the owners and they allowed us to order just one dessert instead (There’s a minimum order of 1 per person). It was a tough decision but i decided to go with the Classic Creme Brulee.

Crisp and solid burnt caramel. Well flavoured vanilla smooth and creamy brulee. It was definitely a delight.

The only pity was that the nearest ATM is at coronation plaza and we couldn’t order more.  So, if you are bringing your date, do make sure to bring enough cash as they don’t accept cards. 🙂

Did i mention i’m a huge fan of green and cows?

i visited this place looking for ice-creams but it’s a pity they only sell in pints and I didn’t have time to sit around for the desserts. looks like a place to return to for sure.

i’m a huge fan of cows. born in the year of one, but also because i love beef. oops.

Also went there looking for ice-cream, thinking it was an ice cream parlour. Until we came to realisation that it was more of a dessert place.

Nevertheless, we ordered a pint of lavender ice-cream at $15.00 and sat there enjoying the whole tub.

Chef Richard was even nice enough to throw in a side of French Tuile F.O.C!
