3. 博多天神/新宿靖国通り店 (Hakata Tenjin /Shinjuku Yasukuni-dori shop)

We had this 2 years back during Winter at the Hakata Tenjin shop at Kabuki-cho (The one with the huge pig statue). Nothing beats a bowl of ramen during winter. This time round, we had this when the weather was about 23-24 degrees. Hot? Not really. But i still love thick milky pork broth soup and hakata style noodles.

Everyone has their favourite bowl of ramen. Surely, there will always be continuous debate on which ramen is better. As for me, i like my noodles to be springy aka Kyushu Hakata Style and milky pork based soup. With that, i’m contented. 🙂

Thank you dear. I’m getting lazier man. I’m taking forever to load the photos and scan through them.. everytime i do so, i just feel like going back there again 😦

I like the Hakata Tenjin Ramen for the crazy awesome pork milky broth soup base and the springy Q noodles but not the eggs.

The Kyushu Jangara is also a must try if you love thin springy noodles. Cute Crazy little ramen shop.

It sounds crazy to have 5 bowls of ramen within 7 days but actually, i think i still have stomach for more! 😀

Wow you sure had a lot of ramen!!!! I like Ippudo, and these days my fav is a “katsuo dashi” ramen. (bonito stock) Ah now I feel like a bowl of ramen! Well maybe not, it’s way too hot for it!

      Hiki!! 🙂

Yah, crazy huh? The bf loves ramen. He was there on a work trip, so my job is to find all the ramen shop for him! He dosen’t mind having it everyday -_-!

I think nothing beats a bowl of ramen when its cold or during winter (The feeling is just different). I remembered i had a bowl of ramen at Hakone previously. It wasn’t the best but the weather makes it just different.

Crazy Hot weather just dosen’t goes hand in hand with ramen.. but surprisingly, ramen is still a big hit in the crazy-hot-singapore 😀

Ohoh Ichiran! I visited the Roppongi outlet many years back and I can still remember its ticket vending machine, cubicle-like counter seats and of course, really good ramen!

Your other ramens are looking really fantastic too!

I have heard tons of good stufff about Ichiran… It’s such a pity that Ichiran was under renovation when i was there. 😦 I can only try it next time then!

I love their bite size gyoza. Ippudo in Singapore started a new shop – Ippudo Tao at UE Square. Not much difference as compared to the Mandarin Gallery one, with the exception that they are selling some pretty taste tsukune kushiyaki.

      Hi Mr lee,

Boiled eggs with runny yolk are not exactly the norm in all the shop. Just like the Hakata Ramen. 🙂
